PREGABALIN INSOMNIA STUDY

Purpose: To find out if using pregabalin is people with epilepsy and insomnia can improve sleep

Inclusion criteria: Age 18-50, 2 or fewer seizures per month, stable antiepileptic drug regimen, complaint of insomnia without other definite sleep disorders

Study participation lasts for 7 weeks and involves a physical exam, completing questionnaires, keeping a sleep and seizure diary, and having 3 overnight sleep studies. This is a double-blind crossover study and subjects will take both pregabalin and a placebo.
