Adolescents and Teens

Specialty Care Center for Adolescents and Teens with Epilepsy

Welcome to New York’s only specialty care center for the treatment of adolescents and teens with epilepsy and seizure disorders.

We are experts in the treatment of epilepsy and have dedicated our attention to the time in a child’s life when they are seeking independence, trying out adult decisions and behaviors, learning about the changes in their body and how it will impact their medical concerns.

The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center will provide you with:

  • A review of your current treatment plan and how it will need to be modified through puberty

  • Access to a full complement of diagnostic tests to ensure proper treatment plans are in place

  • A discussion of a surgical option as a possible cure for seizures

  • Tools and support for parents and teens to help communication and management of medical care through the transition into independence.
The Specialty Care Center for Adolescents and Teens with Epilepsy is defining the level of care families deserve.
